Hello, Company 7!
We’re off to an exciting start – and we’re introducing a few new things this season, so please take time to read this first Spotlight of Season 7!
First – Call-back Auditions for Little Shop
If you’ve completed your initial audition for our all-company musical (LSOH), please sign up today here for ONE of the two callback sessions, either Thursday, Sept 12, or Friday, September 13th.
All-Company Paperwork deadline tomorrow
This is a reminder that your paperwork is due tomorrow, including your conflicts for Fall ‘24. We have a fast paced rehearsal schedule with a show opening in December, and must have your conflicts in order to accommodate them in our rehearsal schedule. Please send conflicts by email by tomorrow, September 10th, to Heather@lightsupsb.com.
Please remember that all tuition must be paid or payment plan/scholarship agreement must be in place before casting can be released on September 14th.Â
New this season – rolling auditions!
Because our shows are more spread out this season, we’ll be auditioning for each program separately. Auditions for our exciting Advanced Company Musical will be held in early November. However, anyone interested in auditioning for this show is highly encouraged to attend our once a week prep class, beginning in October.  Acting Intensive enrollment will be open until the program begins in March.
BRAND NEW WEBSITE!
We are thrilled to introduce our beautiful, new, updated website! I’m so grateful to Jon and Kelly Martin for their generosity and expertise in building this fantastic site for us. I also want to thank Thomas Delhi for all of his creativity and guidance leading up to the final creation of this fabulous resource for us.
What’s new?
Beyond the many new photos of recent shows- SO FUN!– there is a new ACTOR’S CORNER which will allow you to access your rehearsal calendar, find sign up links, fill out all of your paperwork, and more! It’s a game-changer for us. No more hunting through emails for information and links! You’ll need a password to sign in to Actor’s Corner, which you’ll receive by email as soon as you confirm you are participating in Season 7.
We’re baaaaack!
At 2300 Garden Street! We’ve signed a 6 month lease with the new owners, with a potential to extend. For new members, here’s the location. Follow the Lights Up! signs to the Black Box theater.
